Cory Grosser

Cory Grosser has become one of the most exciting designers of his generation. Born in Rochester, NY in 1975, Grosser earned an architecture degree at the University of Buffalo, in NY before attending the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. In 2001, Grosser founded Positive Industrial Design in Los Angeles and began serving international clients across several disciplines including furniture and product design, textile design, brand strategy, and architecture. Grosser’s work has been featured in most of the important design publications worldwide, including the cover’s of both Casa-D in Italy and Surface Magazine in the US. Recent accolades include an ID Magazine Design Review Award, Best of Neocon Award, a Gold Award at IIDEX/Neocon Canada, a finalist for the Hot Seat Competition sponsored by Metropolis Magazine, and an Athena Award for Excellence in Design nomination.

Grosser is also active in design education. His lecture "Positive Design: The Emotional Power of Beauty" has been given to architects and designers across America. Formerly a faculty member of Philadelphia University, he now teaches at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
